The Adventure of a Life Time

The little Pikachu chuckled.

"Do you wanna come with us?" Ash asked, curious.

He wasn't gonna capture the shiny Pikachu, he already had his buddy.

"Go with you guys?" Thunder echoed. "I-I dunno.. My brother would get worried about me.."

"Your brother?" Pikachu asked.

The smaller Pikachu nodded. "Uh-huh. His name's Sparky, and he's been taking care of me since our mother and father were killed he said."

"Aw, I'm sorry." Ash said, softly.

"It's not your fault.. Don't be sorry," Thunder replied. "I never got to know them anyway. Dad was killed when he went out to protect the village. It was the Thunder Warrior see, trained by Raikou himself, and he and the others that were to protect the village, did. Dad.. Didn't make it. Mom told Sparky to take me somewhere and for the two of us to hide. The Pokémon that attacked our village. Many Pokémon were killed and captured that night.."

Ash felt sick to his stomach. He couldn't believe that some humans would do that to Pokemon, the very creatures he treated as friends and equals. Pikachu looked down as that was his reason that he didn't trust Ash in the first place.

"But not all humans are bad, I guess? You're a nice one, Ash! So that's a good thing."

"I am a good one. It's just...I don't like the bad ones since they give us a bad name."

"Which explains why the others in the village said not to trust humans."

"Makes sense."

"Yeah.. I could take you to the village if you want."

"I don't think that would be wise." Ash said, a bit too quickly.

'Ash,' Pikachu thought, a bit worried.

The smaller Pikachu frowned, as he went over and nuzzled the ten year old's leg. "It's okay. I'll tell everyone you're nice. Pikachu can help too."

"Sure can!" Pikachu said, smiling.

'I don't know if I can look at a clan of Pikachu after what had happened... Pikachu does deserve to be free...right,' Ash thought, conflicted.

"Come on! It's this way!" Thunder said, and dropped on all fours and headed off into the bushes.

Ash and Pikachu followed behind.

The smaller Pikachu stopped at a bush, and pulled it back. Behind the bush was Pikachu Village. Pichu, Pikachu, and Raichu were in the little village, each doing their own thing. The orange Electric-type looked at his two new friends.

"Welcome to Pikachu Village."

Ash was in awe as was Pikachu.

"Wait here."

Thunder hopped through the bush and into the village. A few heartbeats later, he returned with a Raichu. The Raichu wasn't a normal colored one. This one was a bright red. The older Pokémon raised an eyebrow at the sight of Pikachu and Ash.

"You weren't kidding when you said another Pikachu and human was here," the Raichu commented.

"This is Ash and.. Pikachu," Thunder said. "They're nice big brother!"

Sparky sighed. "They don't seem bad, that's true. However, you know you're not suppose to bring anyone here. You know very well Stone won't be happen when he sees the two of them. He doesn't like outsiders."

"He'll get over it I guess?" the orange Pikachu replied.

Ash and Pikachu patiently waited.

Sparky looked over at them. "Hello. I'm Sparky, Thunder's older brother."

"I'm Ash and this is my partner, Pikachu!"

"Hi!"

Sparky nodded. "NIce to meet you."
